International Tiger Day

International Tiger Day, also known as Global Tiger Day, is an annual event that takes place on July 29th and is aimed at raising awareness and support for the conservation of tigers. The day was established in 2010 by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and other organizations as a way to bring attention to the plight of tigers, which are facing extinction due to habitat loss, poaching, and other threats. International Tiger Day is celebrated in countries around the world, with events and activities organized to raise awareness about tiger conservation and to raise funds to support the protection of these animals. The goal of International Tiger Day is to help ensure that tigers continue to thrive in the wild for generations to come.
