World Heart Day

World Heart Day is a day celebrated annually on September 29th to raise awareness about the importance of heart health and to promote efforts to prevent heart disease.

The day was first established by the World Heart Federation in 2000 as a way to focus attention on the global problem of heart disease and to promote efforts to prevent it. World Heart Day is celebrated in countries around the world, with events and activities organized to raise awareness about the importance of heart health and the role that individuals can play in preventing heart disease. The day is an opportunity to recognize the progress that has been made in reducing the burden of heart disease and to renew efforts to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to live a healthy, heart-healthy life.
