International Day of Peace

International Day of Peace is a day celebrated annually on September 21st to promote the ideals of peace and nonviolence around the world. The day was first established by the United Nations in 1981 as a way to celebrate the ideals of peace and to promote nonviolence and understanding among nations and people.
